Hurricane Ida Repair Updates

WORSHIP IN THE FELLOWSHIP HALL - Starting this Sunday, March 5 (through at least the end of March), we will be worshiping in our fellowship hall while our sanctuary is under construction to fix leaks from Hurricane Ida, put down new carpet, paint the walls, etc. Please enter the church building through the hallway double doors on Canal that are to the right of the sanctuary double doors when you are looking at the church. The fellowship hall is to your right once you enter. We look forward to seeing you at 9AM and 11AM for worship!

As you have noticed, repairs are well on their way at the church. The majority of the downstairs is completely repaired and ready to be used. The work on the church building - especially the exterior and the sanctuary will continue through April. We ask that everyone stay out of the sanctuary as there will be work equipment and scaffolding, and we want everyone to stay safe. The original plan was to have us back into the sanctuary by Holy Week so that we could worship in the sanctuary for Easter. However, because of problems with the carpet that was ordered, it is possible that we will not be back in the sanctuary until later in April. We know this isn't ideal, but we want to make sure that no corners are cut when we are restoring our building to how it looked before Hurricane Ida. Thank you for your understanding and flexibility!
